Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS)
IMO Rule 10 (COLREG): Vessels shall use the appropriate traffic lane; shall not cross lanes except at right angles or as close to right angles as practicable.
Separation Zone: Must not be used except in an emergency or to cross the scheme.
COLREG Compliance: Rule 10 applies at all times within designated TSS — maintain lane discipline and proper lookout.
